OUR STORY

Founded by Jane,  our family-run establishment has been delighting diners since 1986. We pride ourselves on cooking fish the Yorkshire way, in beef dripping,  which gives our dishes a rich, savoury flavour.

 

We also offer grilled fish under our salamander, along with a range of starters and all the best sides to complement your meal. Join us in our clean, inviting first-floor setting, perfect for families, couples, and groups alike

 

With great value and a selection of homemade desserts that will leave you craving more, we invite you to experience the warmth and flavour of our culinary passion.

We're nestled above one of the Superfish branches in West Byfleet. To find us, simply walk through the Superfish restaurant and head up the staircase to our cozy first-floor dining space.

"Thoroughly welcomed me as a solo dinner. Wait staff were super lovely and helpful too. The food was great and the portions are generous. It’s not a cheap dinner but it was very feel good and I would go back. Plenty of families there too, so suitable for anyone who wants simple food done extremely well. The only thing I would say is ask the venue to give the option to tip on the card machine as I felt so mean and didn’t have any cash!"

This was my first visit to Jane's Upstairs restaurant with a group of friends. What a delight ! The poached salmon was perfect as was the service.
