WHAT THE FOLK SAY

"The best fish and chips I’ve had in my life. So succulent. The deserts were beautifully presented and the hazelnut merengue was really the tip of the iceberg. The atmosphere was perfect. So cozy and will definitely be coming here for a romantic date night (will be needing a bottle of that merlot 😝)"

"A lovely traditional family fish and chip restaurant with excellent, friendly service and good food. Beautifully cooked fish with a light batter and great chips. We’ll definitely return!"
Beverley G
"Thoroughly welcomed me as a solo dinner. Wait staff were super lovely and helpful too. The food was great and the portions are generous. It’s not a cheap dinner but it was very feel good and I would go back. Plenty of families there too, so suitable for anyone who wants simple food done extremely well. The only thing I would say is ask the venue to give the option to tip on the card machine as I felt so mean and didn’t have any cash!"

"First trip back to Janes for many years and left wondering why we have not been going their regularly, like it would seem the rest of the full tables had been. Lovely freshly caught and cooked fish and chips, sauces and deserts.. will be back for sure kids enjoyed everything especially the monster ice cream!"
